Are you ready to take on the walking dead? The Anheuser-Busch Jacksonville Brewery is infested with zombies and they need help to rid the brewery of the undead. Every Friday and Saturday night throughout the month of October, the brewery will be turned into The Haunted Brewery. It’s a scary experience that should not be missed!
Inside the brewery, it’s the HOPocalypse, a zombie apocalypse interactive experience produced by Jacksonville Haunts. The experience will resemble laser tag, but the goal will be to shoot the zombies who have taken over the brewery. A team of 10 players will go through the zombie apocalypse every three minutes to clear the brewery of zombies using special zombie killing guns.
Outside the brewery, the fun continues with zombie paintball where you can help eradicate the horde, check out the Art Garden of Death with some spooky creations, and enjoy the Creepy Clown carnEVIL featuring creepy carnival games such as the wheel of misfortune, wall of dismemberment and the haunted head hoops. There is also the Blind Zombie Haunt haunted house and the Haunted Putt ‘N’ Crawl where you can putt through graveyards, spiders, zombies, ghosts and goblins.
There will be special events throughout the month including the Oct. 6 Visit Jacksonville Day, which celebrates events like these in Jacksonville. That same night guests can enjoy the Freaky Food Truck Festival. On Oct. 7, enjoy the 930 the Fox Night and the Deuling Draculas will perform every Friday and Saturday Night.
The following weekend, wear your best costume on Oct. 13 for the 97.9 KISS FM and Rumba 106.9 costume contest and the GAAM Haunted Cosplay Party, and Oct. 14 is WQIK Night at the Haunted Brewery. Oct. 20 is 107.9 The River Night and Oct. 21 come out for the Planet Radio Bike Night with special guests Lex and Terry. The final weekend of The Haunted Brewery features WCWJ Fright Night on Oct. 27 and it wraps up with the WJBT costume contest and the Pandemonium 7 Party on Oct. 28.

The Haunted Brewery at The Anheuser-Busch Jacksonville Brewery starts on Sept. 29 and 30 in conjunction with Oktoberfest Jacksonville and will continue every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. throughout the month of October. The brewery is located at 111 Busch Drive on the Northside of Jacksonville.Tickets are available at thehauntedbrewery.com. General admission tickets are $10 each. Prices for admission to the HOPocalypse Zombie Hunt vary by time. There are also season passes available for both general admission and the zombie hunt.
