While you wait for a table or a booth -- small and lumpy, but good if you want to get buddy-buddy -- order a Cosmopolitan at the bar. They're made with Absolut Citron and sure to please. Be careful: Just because there's a cherry in that Manhattan doesn't mean it don't pack a lethal punch.

If you want a booth, you'd better plan to order some food. The back room is all about the do-it-yourself grill. If you simply plan to indulge in one of the Turf Club's retro cocktails, get there early and claim a stool at the bar.
