THE MOST INTERESTING PERSON I’VE INTERVIEWED THIS MONTH

Jacksonville author Michael Wiley used to live in Chicago.  His first series of crime novels were based in the Windy City, but now, Wiley explores Northeast Florida’s fascinating complexities in his writing.

He’s done it again with his new thriller, Monument Road. Reviews are glowing for Wiley’s gripping tale of a man falsely convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, and then put on Death Row.

“Ever since I was a kid, false accusations—and baseless punishments—have horrified me,” says Wiley. “That’s where the story began.”

Monument Road follows on other noir thrillers Wiley has set in the area, like Black Hammock (set on the island of the same name) and Second Skin.

If you’re a fan of classic crime novelists like Dashiell Hammett, Raymond Chandler or even Agatha Christie, you’ll really enjoy Wiley’s work and his growing following. Learn more at www.michaelwileyonline.com.
