Forking Amazing Restaurants Launches New Program To Benefit Nonprofit Organizations

Collaborate and Give, a monthly dining promotion, will launch Feb. 27

February 15, 2017 — JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Forking Amazing Restaurants, an independent restaurant group that includes Ovinté, Bistro Aix and IL DESCO, today announced the launch of Collaborate and Give, a new program to benefit nonprofit organizations.

Through this program, Forking Amazing Restaurants will donate 5 percent of food sales at Ovinté, Bistro Aix and IL DESCO over a three-day dining period each month to a designated nonprofit partner.

Collaborate and Give will begin on the last Monday of each month. The first Collaborate and Give promotion will be held Feb. 27 through March 1. Proceeds will benefit the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund.

“As a Jacksonville-based restaurant group, we take great pride in supporting nonprofit organizations that make our community a better place to live,” said Matt Mannick, President of Forking Amazing Restaurants. “Tom Coughlin’s leadership yields amazing results — both on the field and in the community. Since 1996, the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund has provided much-needed support for local families tackling childhood cancer. We look forward to raising awareness and funds for this worthy organization through Collaborate and Give.”

Forking Amazing Restaurants will solicit nominations from its employees for future Collaborate and Give partners.

Cary Ann Moody, Community Relations and Events Manager for the Jay Fund said, “The Tom Coughiln Jay Fund is honored to be chosen as the first beneficiary for this giving initiative by Forking Amazing Restaurants. It says a lot about the character of an organization when they choose to get involved in the community. The dollars raised will make an impact in helping local families tackle childhood cancer.”
